Potato research continues to grow at Trident Ag Products. This season, we’re conducting two trials with larger plot sizes covering half-pivot fields, giving us an even broader look at product performance under real-world growing conditions.
By continuing these trials over multiple years, we’re able to work alongside growers, track results from season to season, and build a stronger understanding of what works in the field.
Trident's work continues to show encouraging results in addressing the early die complex in potatoes, including suppression of Verticillium and black dot in stem tissue. The goal is simple: help growers maintain healthier plants and maximize crop potential.
Strike formulations are Chloropicrin-based products and some of the most effective soil fumigants to manage soil borne pests and pathogens in potatoes and other crops. Pre-plant soil fumigation treatment is the first step in a successful soil health and pest management system. Strike can be applied alone or in combination with other fumigants via shank injections. The Strike product line helps you grow a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable crop year after year.

From the first pass to the finished application, every acre matters
.TriCal Group works closely in collaboration with universities and researchers to protect our food supply and health. The chemicals we use are registered in varying chemical formulations for maximum performance, safety, and environmental health. All have been listed as exempt under EPA residue tolerance, meaning no resulting residue in or on food grown after soil treatment with these chemistries.

On September 12, we’re celebrating blackberries and the growers who continue to explore new varieties and production practices to find what works best for their fields.
This reel features photos and videos from Enfield Farms, showcasing a blackberry field that was soil fumigated by Trident Ag Products. Enfield Farms is taking an industrious approach by evaluating several different blackberry varieties to see which ones perform best in their operation.
Testing different varieties, monitoring performance, and learning from the results are all part of the process of making informed decisions for the future.

Trident Ag was proud to be in Greenleaf, Idaho, alongside Valley Agronomics for their annual stewardship training, focused on product label requirements, PPE, Fumigation Management Plan (FMP), safety, technology, and innovative solutions for the Valley Agronomics sales team.
Our Sales Manager, Robert Rauert, led the presentation on Strike™, powered by Chloropicrin products. Dusty Allen from Teleos Ag, one of our affiliated companies within the TriCal Group, also joined us, providing stewardship training on TELONE™ by Teleos.
The event was held by Valley Agronomics in conjunction with Trident Ag, Teleos Ag, and TKI, bringing together industry expertise and resources to provide annual training for sales representatives and handlers on required product and label stewardship.
