Pre-plant soil fumigation was undertaken in Mariginiup, Western Australia as part of a green bean trial for a local grower. The trial focused on improving soil conditions prior to planting to support stronger crop establishment and overall performance. Effective soil preparation plays a key role in managing soil-borne pressures and setting the foundation for a successful season.
This lush field of peas is part of our ongoing work to understand the residual benefits of rotational crops using Strike™ products, powered by Chloropicrin. It has been one year since the inception of this pea trial, and we are already seeing promising results in our rotational crop.
Building off of our traditional success in tobacco and our more recent watermelon results in 2020-2021, we wanted to trial our low rate system in another crop that fit the specifications outlined earlier; 60-120 day crop. An opportunity was found in Florida with fresh market green beans.
