# California # Chloropicrin # Soil Fumigation # Soil Health # TriCal Inc.Our Southeast rep Chris Hays, was recently in Plant City, FL, for a deep-shank application of TELONE™ by Teleos soil fumigant.
Florida’s Plant City–Dover region is known as the “Winter Strawberry Capital,” supplying fresh berries when few other regions can. With more than $350 million in farm-gate value each year, protecting this crop from yield-robbing nematodes is essential. Pre-plant soil fumigation with TELONE™ by Teleos helps growers establish strong, healthy roots—setting the stage for a productive season.
Deep-shank applications help get TELONE™ further in the ground, below the hard pan, to control the nematodes where they are.

Samples are considered illegal when detections exceed health-protective “tolerances” set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
